New Zealand Needs
To Be Rediscovered.
"To choose or to decide, which comes first? To want or to
need is a clue to the answer. New Zealand needs to be rediscovered, that is, to want to be
what it was meant to be, 'New'. You cannot put new wine into old wineskins." |
New Zealand,
mountainous and beautiful, 'God's own country', lying at the very ends of the earth, one
of the last land areas to fall into the possession of man. A land of natural innocence,
free from the predators so prevalent in other lands, other places. Fittingly the prayer,
'God defend New Zealand', which is a request to God to defend this land - to make peace,
not war it's boast - is chosen as the nation's anthem. In response to this prayer God now
speaks to us through prophecy:
Originality
- to be original is to be new.
"The importance
of your origin must never be overlooked. You are all original and the importance of your
originality is that you all have a small part of the infinite personality of your God,
your creator. This makes you not only original, but important and if you can but accept
your originality and harmonise it with the original personality of each and every one of
your brothers and sisters, you can then bring together a society responsive to My
personality, My will. To be at peace, one with another.
Be therefore yourself,
not copying any other and allow yourself expression, firstly in the way you pray. Apart
from prayers taught, learn to pray with originality from the heart. Tell Me in your own
words how you love Me, and want to be united with Me, to take up your special place in the
plan I have for you.
Do not allow human
respect to crowd in on you so that you cannot be yourself, but in being yourself allow
others the same respect. Stop criticising one another and start to accept the different
talents in each other and try to blend these differences into the pattern and the tapestry
of life. Have that allowable pride in your origin and in this originality be creative, be
happy, be fulfilled and be that person, that nation I want you to be." |
This message
is about God's desire for New Zealand, a new land full of zeal, truly God's own country,
inspired with positive enthusiasm to live up to it's promise as:
A
society responsive to His will;
A
society where freedom of the individual from enslavement is paramount;
A
society where peer pressure has no place;
A
society of diversity, not perversity.
It is a
prophecy which highlights the need for us to blend our personalities in ways that are
complementary rather than critical. With this said let us rediscover New Zealand through
the words of our nation's anthem:
GOD
DEFEND NEW ZEALAND
Verse
1
God of nations at thy feet,
in the bonds of love we meet,
hear our voices we entreat,
God defend our free land.
Guard Pacific's triple star,
from the shafts of strife and war,
make her praises heard afar,
God defend New Zealand.
|
Verse
2
Men of ev'ry creed and race,
gather here before Thy face,
asking Thee to bless this place,
God defend our free land.
From dissension, envy, hate,
and corruption guard our state,
make our country good and great,
God defend New Zealand.
|
Verse
3
Peace not war shall be our
boast,
but should foes assail our coast,
make us then a mighty host,
God defend our free land.
Lord of battles in Thy might,
put our enemies to flight,
let our cause be just and right,
God defend New Zealand.
|
Verse
4
Let our love for Thee
increase,
may Thy blessings never cease,
give us plenty give us peace,
God defend our free land.
From dishonour and from shame,
guard our country's spotless name,
crown her with immortal fame,
God defend New Zealand.
|
Verse
5
May our mountains ever be,
freedom's ramparts on the sea,
make us faithful unto Thee,
God defend our free land.
Guide her in the nation's van,
preaching love and truth to man,
working out Thy glorious plan,
God defend New Zealand.
|
"Time
and time again the truth is to be repeated."
"God does not clone
for His creations are infinitely original." |
