Maxim RevisionContraception and Abortion On a subject as emotionally charged and personal as contraception and abortion it is not surprising to find that half truths hold sway. The ingenuity to contrive and deceive has been, by normal human standards, overpowering and disconcerting. So disconcerting in fact than even many ethical people oscillate under the crossfire of the debate. Murder is a capital crime throughout the world and in some countries punishable by death, therefore, to justify abortion it was necessary to assume to prove that the fetus was just tissue and not as yet a true human being. The word fetus comes from latin meaning offspring, therefore, abortion is not just the discarding of tissue but destruction of a child, an offspring. The maxims make clear God's laws regarding the subject of birth control and abortion. "Induced infertility, like induced abortion, is life thrown away." "Human idealism, about human rights, is bogged down in the human shame of induced abortion. The shame of the idealism of the final solution." "How long will justice for all prevail if injustice towards children, born and unborn, is tolerated?" "Life is a holy gift to be lived eternally by those who love wholly." "To abort life is to deny that life is a holy gift." "I am the Lord of supply and the truth, and the law of My supply is this: I did not give you life for you to take the life of someone else."
